Baked By Bagz
Baked by Bagz is an account run on Instagram that shows off different baking (and sometime cooking) recipes. This was created by someone who’s grown up baking their entire life and when deciding what to name the page, opted for an affectionate nickname that they’ve had since a young age.
Logo:
The client requested a simple logo that they would be able to use for the profile image. This page was created simply for the love of baking, so I kept all line work and colors limited to allow for flexibility if they ever choose to do more as a brand going forward.
My brainstorming session including my favorite method where I draw everything with permanent marker, thus removing any urge to erase a “bad idea.” This is beneficial in that it requires me to just keep moving and get all ideas out on paper instead of worrying about small details right at the beginning.
Food Illustration:
This is a vector illustration I created based on one of Baked By Bagz’s food posts. They are fantastic at displaying food as well as capturing it so I wanted to illustrate the wonderful colors and placement of all items in this ramen bowl. There’s nothing better than getting inspired by the fantastic things people create, especially after getting to work with them creatively.
